Merrimack Valley Credit Union (MVCU) welcomed credit union and community members with a weekend full of holiday celebrations in early December. The credit union’s Lawrence corporate office hosted its annual holiday celebration on Saturday, Dec. 2 and the Bridgewater office held its celebration on Sunday, Dec. 3.
The theme for both parties was The Polar Express. The corporate offices were decked out in holiday decorations, complete with trains, cardboard cutouts of the beloved characters and volunteer staff members in holiday-themed pajamas. Each party welcomed community members of all ages who enjoyed music, holiday treats, a hot cocoa station, crafts, games, face painting and visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
In Lawrence, a raffle was held for a Happy Holiday Express Christmas train set. Congratulations to the winner of the raffle, Jackson, who came by to pick up the train on Monday, Dec. 4.

On Saturday, Dec. 9, MVCU hosted a Member Appreciation Day in select branches to thank its members for their loyalty. Members can visit any of the following branches on this day to enjoy refreshments, giveaways and raffles: Amesbury, Brookline, Danvers, Dorchester, Marlborough, Tewksbury, Waltham and Worcester.
MVCU is also celebrating the season of giving with a toy drive in each of its 19 retail branch locations. Visit your nearest branch to drop off new, unwrapped toys and spread joy to local children in need. The toy drive is running now through Saturday, Dec. 16. Find MVCU’s branch locations here.
